Wildwood communities are in the Tomball Independent School District and have three of the public schools children attend located within the community boundaries. Including, Wildwood Elementary and Oakcrest Intermediate, located right in the heart of the community.

Tomball ISD is looking forward to opening Tomball Star Academy, an Early College High School, for the 2017-2018 school year. This joint initiative with Lone Star College– Tomball will enable students to earn a high school diploma, up to 60 college credit hours, and an Associate of Arts degree. Tomball Star Academy will also provide a supportive learning environment that blends high school and the first two years of college. Students who focus on academics, seek a smaller learning community, and who want to save time and money in pursuit of a baccalaureate degree are encouraged to apply.

Residents living in Wildwood at NorthPointe and Wildwood at Oakcrest have the option to continue their education after high school without traveling far from home. Lone Star College Tomball is minutes away from the community. Lone Star College Tomball offers associate degrees and certification in many areas of study.
