The holidays are over and the kids have gone back to school. Stephanie O’Dea, a New York Times best-selling author has tips to get organized by going to PROM and it’s not the school dance.
Purge, Remove, Organize, and Maintain. Purge. Throw out everything that is not in use, not needed, and unidentifiable. She also cautions against saving things for “some day”. Remove. Get rid of everything chosen an a purged item. Take the trash out immediately. Organize. Set aside a few hours to organize the remaining items. Use storage baskets, bins, shelves, pegs, anything that will maintain order. Maintain. At the end of every day spend 15 minutes restoring order, put things pack where they belong. Kids and spouses too.
